Video Intervention Therapy

Video Intervention Therapy is a voluntary component that is an option within my therapy practice.  You may choose to record interactions or events that occur in your family, for example bedtime battles, sibling or couples dynamics, or dinnertime struggles, to share with me in therapy.  It can be useful to look at these experiences with the benefit of hindsight, as well as being able to witness the events as an outside observer, and with a second set of eyes to support the emergence of new insights.

We may also agree to record couples or family therapy sessions to review together at a later time.  When we reflect together about the interactions we observe, we can focus on specific patterns and concretely identify what is working, as well as what could change for the better.

Video Intervention always occurs with your written consent, and in a non-judgmental, compassionate atmosphere.

I am certified in Video Intervention Therapy (VIT) and am also a designated supervisor in this modality.
