Somatic Psychotherapy incorporates body-based techniques like mindfulness, meditation, and movement to promote a deeper sense of connection that starts from within. A gesture, pattern of breath, or muscular tension may hold meaning that can be compassionately explored to deepen awareness, gain important insights, and access deep unconscious patterns that are keeping you stuck.
Since 2018 I have been learning and putting into practice strategies from AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), which accentuate my background in somatics and greater inform my relational and neuropsychologically based approaches in therapy.
